Gina has been a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for over 20 years. She obtained her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Hofstra University where she excelled and found a passion for the pediatric population. Gina has obtained 60 graduate credits above her Master’s degree, with a focus on Autism, behavior management, and therapeutic sensory approaches. She has built strong family connections to train and support generalization of skills learned.

Gina has worked in both school and home settings, consecutively, for over 20 years, creating supportive environments where every child can blossom. Specialized in working with children ranging in age from 12 months through 12 years with disabilities including: Autism (all levels), Apraxia, Receptive and Expressive Language Disorders (mild to severe), Fluency/Stuttering, Articulation and Phonological disorders, Pragmatics and Play.
Gina is PROMPT Bridging; level 2 trained with a passed practicum. In addition, she is highly knowledgeable with incorporating the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) into therapy. Gina has an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) background, where she has been trained and worked successfully on ABA teams in the home environment, with multiple members. Furthermore, Gina completed graduate courses in this area. Additional training includes Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), Lidcombe, and feeding for sensory purposes.

Beyond therapy, Gina is also a children’s book author, best known for her heartwarming story, Scotty the Scarecrow. Her creativity and passion for helping children shine through in all she does.

As a child-centered therapist, Gina believes in treating the child as a whole, addressing not only communication skills but also emotional and social development using a multi-sensory approach. She stays on top of the latest research and continues her education to bring the most current and effective treatment methods to her clients. Gina’s approach is rooted in empathy, evidence-based practice, and a genuine love for helping children communicate with confidence. Gina believes every child’s voice deserves to be heard, whether spoken or through AAC. Therapy should feel joyful, supportive, and full of growth!
